Of Traveling Laundry and Scallions

Today was laundry day, and also a workday much taken up with international travel arrangements for one of my partners, party venue research for another, and worries about my future assignments. But I paid my credit card bill and set myself a monthly reminder about that (since I cannot figure out for the life of me how to reinstate auto-pay, and neither can any of the bank folks to whom I've spoken) and finally used up one of the giant scallions I'd bought at last Sunday's farmers market to unblandify a chicken ramen soup (which also took the last of the grilled chicken from Saturday's supermarket shop). Lord knows what I'll be doing with the other three! Maybe I'll take a shot at making scallion pancakes again. After all this laundry is put away, of course.
