A Deep Breath of Fresh Air

Well, until around noon, at least, but that's more fresh air than we've had since we returned from the Hamptons. Tomorrow a rep from the company where we bought our most recent air conditioners is coming over to replace a defective whosiwhatsis on two units, amazing since we requested the appointment (at the urging of the corporation) months ago. Ah well, better late than never. Got through and kept up with my inbox at work, tried to book international travel for one of my partners via a 3-person call with me, her, and the travel agent, but alas, the agency's systems were down. Which I consider something of a relief, since I've never booked her travel before and she knows what she wants better than I do. Our failure to book meant that I could log off at the usual time and breathe a sigh of relief. The NY office reopens on Monday, and I'm back there on Tuesday and Thursday of this coming week. What else? Lots of stuff got done, the things I mentioned yesterday plus updating my medical "cheat sheet" (the ones I had on this Mac are way too old and I've Done Stuff since then), steaming six work tops, making cold-brew iced tea, a couple rounds of washing up, the usual. Time to relax and watch one or both NY baseball teams lose!
