One More For Good Measure

Aaaand this morning the water went out. I'd just done some washing up and set a particularly greasy grill pan to soak, so the timing worked out, but I had to abstain from bathroom visits until shortly after noon when the DEP found the source of the issue (probably a water main break) and fixed it. Later our water got cloudy and brownish, but that's to be expected when there's work being done on the pipes. Once again my hat's off to the amazing municipal workers who fix stuff so quickly in this brutal heat. I did check my work phone to see when the air fryer I ordered with my work-related rewards points would be here (not until Friday, thank goodness) and to make sure all was well; nothing that can't wait until tomorrow! But mostly I washed what pots and pans I could when there was water, caught up on some streaming things, and relaxed in this awful heat. Hope tomorrow is a bit of a relief!
