Reprieved!

Despite the cold and wet, today wasn't a bad ending to my four consecutive Manhattan days. The inspectors left by 4 PM and I was back down at my usual workstation by 4:15 or so, packing up around 5 to make up for having left so late the previous three days. I didn't even have to wait for a bus! Alas, the driver was slow and steady, the traffic was maddening as expected, and I got home the same time I get home when taking my usual bus. In any case, I'm thoroughly exhausted but very happy with how things went in the absence of my colleague who set everything up then went on holiday, and I'm thrilled that I don't have to do this again for the rest of the year (I hope). Now I can concentrate on, well, not concentrating for awhile!
