For the second week in a row, items in the veggie aisle of my local supermarket inspired me to cook something I had no intention of making when I walked into the store. Well, that and this continually cold weather which has seeped into my bones and rendered me unable to really think straight. I saw a package of soup veggies, and went for loaded chicken soup. Cold rotisserie chicken from which I separated the bones/skin and meat, boiled the bones with the soup veg and celery root and garlic, kept the resulting liquid and added more garlic, onions, a couple soup veg I couldn't identify (I think half a potato and half a turnip?), whole mushrooms, the meat, and a container of chicken broth. Very tasty and I now have enough to at least get me through the chilly weekend and any subsequent ague I contract from same. Let's eat!
