Getting Better All the Time (Can't Get No Worse)

We seem to be climbing out of the latest deep freeze, and my brain has rejuvenated itself just enough to help me through the work-at-home day. Tomorrow it's actually going to get above freezing, and Sunday (when I finally plan to venture to Woodbury Commons to buy sneakers that won't pinch the side of my left big toe, so I can walk around pain-free again) will be better still. I do find my energy returning as it's not all used up fighting the cold, but I still need a few helpers like my heated under-keyboard pad. Still, a light at the end of this particular tunnel is most welcome.
