It's A Cold Cold World

Thank goodness Robin had enough energy yesterday to chip the snow off the car. We had another Saturday of up-too-early, go-back-to-bed, up-again, only this time we did it in tandem, so we weren't quite in synch until mid-morning. We left at halftime of the Liverpool game, fairly certain their 3-goal lead would hold up (it did), and did a very quick grocery shop in the freezing weather. Not a lot to get this week as I'll be in Manhattan all five days, so mostly the necessities. The news continues to depress, as news does these days, but more and more I'm heartened by how many people are spreading joy and love amidst the darkness.
