Sticking Point

I've been feeling very "unstuck in time" lately, with an uncertain future both personally and externally (i.e., the country), so I was pleased to re-establish maternal contact over this past weekend, and am now back to calling Mom every Wednesday and Saturday, albeit in the mornings when she's more coherent. Today's call was very nice, but it was during her lunch (and mine) so my brother was there and the call didn't last very long. We'll be schlepping out to the wilds of NJ on Saturday to see her in person again, let's hope the coming rain takes care of most of the wildfires in the area!
