Mis en Place

Today was prep day for tomorrow. Once I logged off work at 3 PM I really wanted to nap but instead set to work on drying a loaf of sourdough and roasting chestnuts so they're ready for tomorrow's stuffing. With Robin's help I didn't do too bad a job of it, so everything is about as ready as could be. I suppose I could make the cranberry sauce tonight but I'd rather just rest up. That laundry bag continues to stare me in the face; at least the socks and undies are unpacked and put away. The rest will wait until goodness knows when during the upcoming 4-day weekend.
