For some reason, probably because I'm going to sleep too early, I have a touch of insomnia, so I was up and about in the wee small hours and asked Robin to jostle me around 7 AM, but gave up by 6:30 or so. I wanted to take the car in for inspection first thing, but I was in no shape to drive even locally, so instead I got through my workday and went to the auto shop after logging off at 3 PM. Wound up being the last walk-in appointment of the day, the auto shop was nicely air conditioned so other than a bank run (my bank happened to be across the street) I sat and played computer games on my phone for an hour, and passed inspection with no problems. I'm ahead of the game this weekend, my shopping list is already made out (we're hitting two supermarkets tomorrow) and my comics sorted with new ones put in my cart until I reach the free shipping threshold. Meanwhile, I've tried to keep up with the chonks.
