Work is going extremely well, so much so that I've started setting up for all the stuff I usually do in September in advance of the fiscal year end. I've managed two hours of feet-up leisure every workday so far, so that's eight PTO hours less I have to worry about carrying over (I never use all my paid time off, never have; where would I go?). And I got to help about a half dozen colleagues today, which always makes me feel good, especially considering I don't have the talent to do stuff like this, so I may as well play to my strengths. Robin helped pair my earbuds with my work laptop, and that's made a big difference when the house next door decides it simply must have loud music that permeates through both walls and the alley in between. And I've taught at least two other exec assistants how to do that, so we're all pretty happy campers now. We've "eaten down" much of what was in the fridge, as I love being able to do on weeks when I'm mostly home, so the shopping list for Saturday is growing. But first, if I have the wherewithal, the car goes in for its annual inspection early tomorrow morning...
