All my usual weekend tasks are ticked off, I made a couple trips to take down boxes (wow, five minutes in that humidity really got to me) and bring up some liquids, I fell asleep trying to watch the KPMG women's golf tourney (which I felt I had to at least make an effort to view in case someone at work talks about it) and the New York baseball games, and I've made lots of headway on my task-based online games Gardens of Time (via Facebook) and, yes, Merge Mansion. I have to admit it was the ad with Pedro Pascal that finally pushed me over to trying it, but it does seem to be my kind of thing. I'm back to two miles on the exercise bike, even on days when I've done other body movement, and have just downloaded a chair-based exercise app which I'm eager to try during our firm's summer break. In the meantime, I made a tasty stir fry for lunch, my alarm is set for tomorrow morning, and we have a new working digital clock in the living room to replace the one that was a part of our old cable box, and which was too far away for me to read much of the time anyway. I feel like I have a Buff New Hope for the future.
