Why is Vastleft on the right, and Euphemism on the left? Those wacky hippies and their crazy names and seat positions! Anyway, we had a lovely time at Monster Sushi in Chelsea on their last open day; we really lucked out as we'd had no idea they'd be closing tomorrow through Labor Day for a complete renovation. I can only hope their Theater District location will remain open! Justin regaled us with all sorts of stories, and the one I found most fascinating given my theory of my life as a Venn diagram was the fact that he used to be roommates with Paul Dini and Richard Howell. The world is, in fact, quite small. Especially from the vantage point of a sushi restaurant about to undergo renovations.
