Well, I waited for years but I finally did it.

I finally took the first step toward having an indoor kitchen herb garden. I've had the seeds for months. I also had three plastic pots and got three clay ones from my coworker on Thursday, and yesterday Robin and I went to Home Depot to get terra cotta bases and dirt. Today we actually planted the seeds (basil, chives, cilantro, dill, mint and rosemary), set the pots on the kitchen windowsill to get the western sun and I did my first watering.
I've never, ever managed to grow any plant successfully. Wish me luck.
