If you haven't bookmarked Heidi MacDonald's new home at Publishers Weekly, now's the time - The Beat has taken up residence there and the place looks spiffy indeed! Sidebar changed accordingly and, while I was updating my Kultcha Gals section, I also added Jenn's blog Reappropriate and Valerie D'Orazio's blog Occasional Superheroine. Jenn's a new acquaintance but was on my Gals in Waiting section for a long while, and her essays just kept getting better and better so up she goes. I'm acquainted with Val from when she was an editor at DC and did some work with my husband back when Robin was inking Supergirl.
