In addition to it being Mark Waid's birthday (see below), today is also the birthday of two delightful people I've met at Julia's wonderful blogger parties: Teresa Nielsen-Hayden (her 50th!) and Jen from The News Blog. Many happy returns of the day, gals!! Also, Kath David informs us that it's World Puppet Day, and she should know! And Dwight and Mary Beth have finally posted the finalists for the 2005 Koufax Awards (I didn't make the finals, nor did I expect to).
