After September 11, a number of fundraising and tribute books were released by prominent cartoonists, including Marvel's HEROES, the DC/Dark Horse/Image joint publication, WW3 Illustrated's special issue, and 9-11 Emergency Relief. There were a number of exhibits as well. Art has always been a good medium for catharsis and collective grief, so as you might expect the tragedy in Madrid is no different.
