Via Anne Zook, William Pfaff writes about the American fiction being shattered by our recent aggression (and continued cluelessness and provincialism). While I agree that the myth of the high-minded white-hatted world police-peacekeepers has really been shot to hell in the last couple years by the current Administration, I also think it's been falling gradually for at least a few decades now.
