Now Might Be the Time

I understand lots of folks on my blogroll have given up on having comment sections because their comment host, YACCS, has been really bad of late. I think this is a shame; the availability of this type of feedback is among my favorite aspects of blogging, even though I don't seem to garner a lot of comments myself (*snif*). Despite my hunch that it's six-of-one, half-a-dozen-of-the-other, I do want to recommend that these bloggers consider using Haloscan at present. This comment host moved to a new server last month and does seem to be more responsive now; and, as I mentioned back on August 13, if they do go a little goofy now and again it's pretty easy to log in and delete duplicate posts or edit stuff if need be.
