Walking is still difficult without pain, but this morning holding the area where the IT band joins the hip helped a bit. By this afternoon that trick didn't work any more, so I've now resorted to a half-crab walk step, where I turn my left foot outward as I put weight onto it, and that seems to relieve things for the moment. Meanwhile I did house-stuff, mostly washing the dishes and watching the Olympics. Good to see Cookie Monster learning his French!:
