Another very rewarding in-office day, but there was a casualty, in that I left my favorite winter hat (a newsboy cap much like this one) on the homeward-bound bus. Not the first time I've lost or misplaced it; I swear, that hat has had more adventures than I have! Fortunately I know the driver so there's a better than zero chance I may get it back next week. In the meantime, I'm using the next four days to release all the muscle tension I've built up from three days of 90-minute commuting each way. I'm sure I'll get back into a New Normal rhythm, after all it's only been two weeks, but I'm not as springy a chicken as I used to be. Nor am I a gigantic mutant bird puppet:
