The weather was still rainy and miserable, but Robin's niece and her husband were in town from the UK, so we ventured out in the slop and met them for brunch at a diner near Penn Station, after which we toured the newer part of the station (the Moynihan Train Hall) leading to my company's new office building (come 2025) in Hudson Yards. The driving rain not only soaked us but put paid to any plans to walk the length of the High Line, so we stuck to the indoor Hudson Yards mall. They even have an art gallery there! Although no repainted thrift store work. We got soaked once more going east through Macy's (where I got to show them my favorite escalator) and to our bus stop, just in time to catch the only-every-hour bus home. We're exhausted and in about as much pain as you'd expect, but getting warm and dry. Thank goodness tomorrow I work from home!
