The knee and toes were a bit better after having slept with the brace on, but I was still awakened around 4 AM or so and spent a few hours conscious before being able to catch a few more z's. Big day too, as we got our new COVID and flu shots. Normally I'm not an early adopter but I don't mind being ahead of the curve on something like this. All my usual Saturday stuff (comics sorting and ordering, finances, pills laid out weekly Ozempic shot... ugh, three needles in one day) is done as well, even paid the rent as we stopped at the post office prior to food shopping. Today's only negative so far is the Yankees losing, but even that game turned out interesting. And we just had our new bedroom AC delivered (the delivery guy even hoisted it on his shoulder to carry it two flights up!) to replace the unit that's been steadily going for at least a dozen years now but is still mysteriously hanging on. All in all a very good day! Let's all celebrate with some glissotar music:
