Silly Site o' the Day

Oh Jersey, you're killing me. Or maybe it's this heat wave. In any case, it was a physically trying day for both of us as we drove down to Mom's house to take her to a medical appointment (which wound up being longer than any of us bargained for), then had lunch for two at a local sushi place (haven't been there since before the pandemic, and so delighted that they're still around!), which was very safe as we were the only customers, after which we did a bit of grocery shopping then said our farewells. I think I got seriously dehydrated along the way, had a difficult time with my digestive tract, and still feel weird now that we're home. Fortunately tomorrow is a short day at work, after which we have no weekend plans, so I expect I'll be right as rain by Monday, and back on the bike tomorrow. Until then my perspective is a bit confused.
